Chapter 345: In My Eyes, You Are Nothing More Than Livestock
TL: Sungmin
Upon hearing those words.
The One-Eyed Owl couldn’t hold back anymore. “What’s with this brat? Not only does he have a foul mouth, but he’s also ridiculously arrogant!”
Just looking at Pendragon’s smug and disrespectful demeanor.
The sound of clenched fists cracking could be heard.
The One-Eyed Owl wanted nothing more than to teach her a lesson right then and there.
But unsure of Lin Tian’s intentions, she held back for now.
“Listen up! I’m not some lowly bastard like you! I am the daughter of the God King Odin!” Pendragon declared proudly, holding her small head high.
She had already sensed that the One-Eyed Owl possessed demigod blood.
But it was too faint.
Indeed, Pendragon was a child born of Odin and an ordinary mortal woman from the present world.
In terms of background and qualifications, she was on the same level as Hercules and Perseus.
All were children of God Kings who ruled a Divine Pantheon.
Unexpectedly, the One-Eyed Owl burst into laughter. “After all that, aren’t you just a bastard yourself?”
At that, her cold, anger-filled eyes turned to Hercules.
She still couldn’t confirm anything.
And she had no clues about her connection to him.
But in this situation, asking would only invite mockery and humiliation.
“You’re courting death!!” Pendragon’s temper flared. Despite her small frame, she leapt into the air like lightning!
Swinging a compact but lethal battle axe, she aimed a vicious strike at the One-Eyed Owl!
Her combat power reached 27,000.
Lin Tian estimated that the One-Eyed Owl could probably fight her to a draw, but he himself was itching to kill this foul-mouthed little wench.
The One-Eyed Owl was about to strike when a familiar voice, full of oppressive power, resounded!
“Kneel!”
Thud!
As the Dark Holy Word was activated, Pendragon fell from mid-air directly to her knees, hitting the ground in front of Lin Tian so hard that the floor cracked.
“What just happened?!”
Everyone’s faces changed drastically! Their hearts pounded furiously, overwhelmed by the sheer force of that voice.
Seeing Pendragon kneeling before a goblin, they were utterly baffled.
The loudest, most arrogant one among them—why had she suddenly submitted?
This scene left even Noradoff’s monks and others in the distance dumbfounded. They had been eager to witness the legendary daughter of Odin in action.
Instead, this was the result.
Hercules’ expression grew grave, his tone wary. “Something’s wrong. There’s something off about this goblin! Pendragon, get up!”
“I… I can’t control my body!” Pendragon struggled desperately, trying to break free from the invisible force, but she was utterly powerless.
It was her first encounter with such an attack, and she had no means to counter it.
Lin Tian slowly dismounted from Little Black and stood before her. With cold arrogance, he questioned, “Daughter of Odin? Is this all you’ve got?”
“You damned goblin! What did you do to me?!” Pendragon seethed with uncontainable humiliation, gritting her teeth in fury.
From the moment she was born, she had never been treated this way!
Now, she was forced to kneel before a goblin!
Lin Tian sneered dismissively. “Is that all it takes to break you? Kneel down further and kiss my boots!”
“You!” Pendragon’s pupils constricted in shock and resistance, but she couldn’t refuse!
Slowly, her once proud head lowered towards his mud-stained iron boots.
Hiss!
Hercules and the others gasped audibly!
They couldn’t believe such an unprecedented scene had unfolded before their eyes!
The wild and defiant Pendragon was reduced to this!
However.
Even this wasn’t enough to silence her. Pendragon cursed through gritted teeth, “I’ll kill you for this! I am Odin’s daughter! You will die miserably—you’ll die a horrible death!”
Lin Tian chuckled coldly. “What a stubborn mule. The more you resist, the more excited I get. I’ll make sure you watch yourself transform from a stubborn mule into an obedient dog.”
He intended to toy with her thoroughly.
Pendragon snarled back, “Come on then, you filthy mongrel! Face me one-on-one if you have any guts! Stop using such despicable tricks!”
Visawon, the Sage, furrowed his brows, growing wary of this goblin. “Is it black magic? When was it cast? Poor Pendragon, she fell right into it.”
The others grew increasingly cautious. Black magic wasn’t easy to deal with.
It was akin to voodoo or witchcraft.
A highly sinister and powerful form of magic that often manifested in things like remote killings, curses, and mind control.
“Ha! Little mutt, are you sure you dare challenge him one-on-one?” the One-Eyed Owl mocked, clearly enjoying the scene.
Pendragon’s face brimmed with confidence. “Not only will I challenge him, but I’ll also kill him! And after that, I’ll kill you too, you filthy wench!”
After hearing Visawon’s guess, a thought crossed her mind.
She assumed Lin Tian must be a goblin shaman or sorcerer. As long as he didn’t use magic, she was confident she could kill him with ease.
Hearing this, Lin Tian didn’t refuse. For stubborn mules, a beating was often the best method of correction.
He immediately lifted the suppression of the Dark Holy Word.
The moment Pendragon stood up, she launched an attack!
Swish!
The sharp edge of her short axe grazed Lin Tian’s neck, glinting with cold light!
At that moment, she resembled a ferocious wolf, desperate to tear out her enemy’s throat and devour him alive.
However, her speed was far too slow in Lin Tian’s eyes.
This wasn’t because Lin Tian’s combat strength was particularly high.
It was simply that Pendragon, who had lived a life of ease, had only ever faced opponents far weaker than herself.
Though she had powerful strength gifted by her bloodline, her actual combat skill was akin to a child’s squabble.
A flurry of wild, chaotic punches.
The phrase “a flurry of blows can beat a seasoned master” only applied if the master was truly old and weak.
It didn’t apply to Lin Tian.
If Pendragon’s potential were fully developed and her abilities enhanced, her God King bloodline would make her incredibly strong.
Otherwise, her combat ability wouldn’t differ much from the One-Eyed Owl’s.
Pendragon’s strikes grew more frantic.
“Die! Die! You bastard! You bastard! You bastard!” she shouted.
Though her axe was heavy and devastatingly powerful with each swing, it meant nothing if she couldn’t land a hit.
Lin Tian, meanwhile, moved with ease. His practiced footwork was so refined it had reached perfection.
He didn’t even need a rush of adrenaline to effortlessly dodge every attack.
To Alice and the One-Eyed Owl, his movements seemed normal.
But.
To Hercules and the others, it looked like Lin Tian had activated some kind of cheat.
“This… how is this possible? How can someone have such terrifying footwork?”
“How many battles must one experience to develop such evasive skills?”
“My God, is this really a goblin? He seems more like a battle master from a legendary tale!”
The sight left Noradoff and the others watching from a distance completely stunned. They had idolized Odin’s daughter for so long.
And now, she was being toyed with.
Pendragon was so enraged she was about to lose her mind. “You cowardly bastard! Are all your battles just dodging and running away? Do you dare fight me head-on?”
Hearing this, Hercules and the others nodded in agreement, or perhaps they were just comforting themselves. “It makes sense. Goblins are an extremely weak race, so they must rely on dodging to survive.”
“Yes, that must be it. He might dodge 99 times, but Pendragon only needs to hit him once to kill him!” Perseus added.
They couldn’t bring themselves to admit that this creature from the Wilderness, a lowly monster, could possess such great strength.
As they spoke, suddenly, Lin Tian, who had been dodging with ease, came to a halt and stood perfectly still.
Thud!
Pendragon’s heart trembled violently, and an overwhelming fear washed over her, making her body go limp.
Just as she was about to strike, she pulled her axe back and retreated quickly!
“What’s wrong?!”
Everyone was confused, not understanding why she suddenly stopped attacking.
Pendragon’s eyes were filled with terror as she stared at Lin Tian, who appeared completely defenseless. Her breaths came in heavy gasps.
Sweat poured down her face.
She muttered to herself, “Why… why do I feel like if I had attacked just now, I would have been killed instantly?!”
Lin Tian stood there impatiently. “What’s wrong, oh proud daughter of Odin? Attack me. I’m standing right here, not dodging. Come on!”
Cold sweat dripped from Pendragon’s forehead. Her anxious eyes darted around, noticing the puzzled looks of those around her.
Their murmurs pressured her into action.
“For a mere goblin, what are you so smug about?!”
With a shout of false courage, Pendragon swung her axe fiercely at Lin Tian’s head!
“I got him!”
“No, wait! How is this possible?!”
The axe passed straight through Lin Tian’s head, and just as Pendragon was about to rejoice, she realized something was off!
The sensation in her hands was completely wrong.
The next moment, a powerful force slammed into her face!
Bang!
Lin Tian raised a hand and struck her head, flipping her body backward at a 90-degree angle, slamming her head into the ground with bone-crushing force!
A wave of pain and dizziness engulfed Pendragon, nearly causing her brain to shut down.
Her legs twitched uncontrollably.
Like a doll, Lin Tian grabbed her again and smashed her back down. With just two blows, she was on the verge of unconsciousness.
“Boring.”
He tossed her to the ground like a dead dog.
Pendragon lay there, her face bloodied and her body convulsing. She opened her mouth to speak, but blood surged up her throat, choking her words.
This scene.
Left everyone utterly stunned!
The speed and violence with which Pendragon was taken down were shocking!
How could this be possible?
Hercules immediately drew his spear and shield, his fighting spirit blazing. “You bastard!!”
Everyone else was on high alert.
Lin Tian, however, remained indifferent. “What’s the matter? Planning to resist? Killing all of you would be effortless for me, but do you know why I don’t?”
“Goblin, aren’t you a bit too arrogant? Do you really think you can kill us? Just because you ambushed and knocked out Pendragon doesn’t mean you can handle us!”
Perseus’s fighting spirit surged like a hurricane as he spoke confidently.
He had never been afraid of a fight.
Visawon unleashed his own immense holy power, adding coldly, “Don’t get too full of yourself, lowly monster!”
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
Golden energy waves swirled around him.
However, Lin Tian merely raised a finger toward the sky.
Boom!
The beam of Judgment Execution erupted instantly!
It tore through the clouds, illuminating the entire sky over the Divine Strength Empire!
“What!”
This scene once again left everyone stunned!
It wasn’t just the terrifying power of the attack—it was the fact that a monster was capable of using a holy-type attack!
Visawon felt as though his entire worldview had been shattered. “What kind of creature are you? How can you possibly—”
Lin Tian didn’t answer. Instead, the corners of his mouth stretched into a sinister grin. “Let me tell you something: every single one of you is nothing more than livestock to me. Food. Your lives are merely a means to stave off boredom. Do you understand?”
His tone sounded calm.
But the implications sent chills down Hercules’s and the others’ spines.
Their bodies broke out in goosebumps, and their pupils trembled slightly.
Monsters and other evil forces were usually straightforward in their goals—plunder, destruction, or slaughter.
But Lin Tian’s words far exceeded such simple motives.
It was the embodiment of an unparalleled sense of power, of toying with life, of ruling the world.
Hercules swallowed hard, unsure if Lin Tian was exaggerating or if he genuinely had the confidence to back up such claims.
Everyone hesitated, unwilling to act rashly.
At this moment, Loael spoke up, “Mr. Goblin, our Star Guild is passionate about adventure. We have no intention of interfering with whether or not you intend to establish a kingdom on the Divine Continent.”
Lin Tian followed the voice and saw a striking figure appear before him.
Although she was dressed in a black cloak and tight-fitting clothes that revealed no skin,
her unmatched elegance and beauty were unmistakable.
“I like people who know their place. Are you the president of the Star Guild? The so-called strongest hero? I’ll remember you,” Lin Tian said with a self-satisfied grin.
It was as if he were praising a pet or servant.
Hercules immediately demanded, “Loael, what do you mean by this? A stray from the Wilderness wants to carve up the Divine Continent, and you choose to stay out of it?”
“Do you want us to treat you as an enemy too?” The Desert Queen reprimanded coldly.
Everyone turned their sharp gazes toward Loael.
She remained unflustered. “I will take my leave now. If you wish to go to war with the Star Guild, I’ll choose to fight you instead…”
With that, she transformed into a streak of light and vanished into the distance.
Once, that goblin couldn’t even defeat Jeanne d’Arc. Now, he had grown to such a level in so short a time!
She wouldn’t dare provoke him without absolute certainty.
“What a coward! She deserves to be toyed with by me!” Perseus growled venomously, his eyes filled with malice as he watched Loael’s figure disappear.
Lin Tian continued, “I’ve made myself clear. You have the chance to make your own choices. For now, I’ll take my leave.”
As he turned to leave, he suddenly remembered the unconscious Pendragon lying on the ground.
“I almost forgot about her. If you want, you’re free to carve up her empire as you like.”
Lin Tian grabbed her slender ankle and prepared to board a dragon to leave.
Hercules moved as if to stop him but hesitated, his caution holding him back. “What do you mean by this?”
Several dragons began flapping their wings, ready to ascend.
Before departing, the One-Eyed Owl glanced back with a sly smile. “What else could it mean? That woman is never coming back! Also, next time we meet, you’d better pray you’re not the one I’m looking for!”
As Lin Tian and his group flew away,
Hercules’s expression turned complicated. “Damn it! As if being humiliated by Gabriel wasn’t enough—now even a goblin from the Wilderness is stepping all over us!”
“Investigate his forces for me! Mobilize the entire national army! Be ready to declare war at any time!”
Wow, Pendragon might be the most unfortunate among the Demi-gods (after Jeanne D’Arc) being captured by Lin Tian.
