Virus King - Chapter 13
Chapter 13: I’m Quite Interested in Your Mom!
TL: YYang
Pain!
However, beyond the pain, there was a fear that drilled deep into his scalp!
This time, Liu Feng finally understood the kind of person he had offended, the person standing right before him!
Chen Bai stood in front of him, while Chu Xin stood beside him, looking on with some reluctance but saying nothing.
“I’m giving you one chance. That woman came to the hospital—was it because of your provocation!? Remember, you only get one chance!”
Liu Feng opened his mouth, wanting instinctively to deny it.
However, in those cold eyes, he saw an indescribable depth.
He felt as if he were being watched intently by the most ferocious of beasts!
If he didn’t tell the truth, he’d die!
This sensation made Liu Feng’s legs shake uncontrollably, and the pain in his abdomen, combined with the mental pressure, left him unable even to sit up.
Chen Bai wasn’t the least bit surprised at his reaction.
With his mental strength at a solid fifteen points, even without using any mental skills, it was more than enough to ensure this guy in front of him didn’t dare lie!
With a thud, Liu Feng dropped straight to his knees.
“Don’t kill me, don’t kill me! I did it, I told Sun Yanmei… I was wrong! I won’t do it again!”
With those words, the slight sympathy the little nurse felt for him turned to anger, her eyes welling up with tears!
Yesterday, thanks to Chen Bai’s help, she’d barely escaped the fear of death.
But today’s incident had nearly ruined her reputation in the hospital—if not fully socially dead, she was close enough.
And it turned out this guy had been the one to bring trouble to her doorstep.
Yesterday, a death certificate had already been issued, and the police had been clear enough on the situation—so why had that shrew returned today?
It turned out this guy had been stirring up trouble behind the scenes.
Even though she’d been doing… certain things over the phone with Liu Feng, he was just too vicious!
Chen Bai, however, cared little about right or wrong on either side; he wasn’t exactly a fair person. When it came to his own people, double standards were only natural!
So, as he watched Chu Xin, the little nurse, give this former licking dog a swift kick, a satisfied smile appeared on Chen Bai’s face.
There was no denying it—the image of a young, angelic nurse in her uniform, usually so sweet and innocent, acting with such violence had a striking contrast that captivated Chen Bai in a way only he might understand!
He’d always been a man who followed his impulses.
He shot a glance at the bathroom stall and smiled.
Feeling the pain radiating through his body and listening to the sounds from the stall in the restroom, Liu Feng was overwhelmed with a strange sensation.
It was humiliation, pain, but even stranger was the inexplicable hint of pleasure.
Chen Bai, of course, didn’t know the full range of emotions that these blows had stirred in this young man, whom he barely knew beyond his name.
And Chen Bai didn’t care.
The signs of the apocalypse had already begun to show.
An era of crumbling order and reshaping societal structure was at hand.
Defiance, boundlessness—these were the hallmarks of this unique transitional time!
He considered himself quite a person of principle, relatively speaking.
There was a rule in the apocalypse: the more wretched a person’s past, the more wildly they would act once they gained power.
In the apocalypse, mutated beasts, zombies, secret realms, and natural disasters were merely the known threats.
The truly terrifying ones would always be those unknown Evolvers, harboring hidden intentions.
Luckily, for now, Chen Bai didn’t need to worry too much about that.
He was in high spirits as he left the hospital.
The little nurse’s efficiency had been so impressive it had even surprised him.
Right now, in his Cosmic Will backpack, he had a dozen or so sterilizing syringes, each filled with blood samples containing various viruses.
After all, this was one of the top hospitals in Jiangcheng, with a steady influx of patients carrying all sorts of infections.
Of course, there were far more actual virus carriers than this, but the little nurse had done her best!
These samples were something Chen Bai could experiment with slowly once he got back.
However, just as he stepped out of the hospital, a figure stopped him in his tracks.
A tall figure of over 1.7 meters, with a chest that, while not as impressive as Chu Xin’s bold curves, could still be considered ample!
Most striking of all, though, were the long, seemingly glowing, slender legs extending from beneath a pair of denim shorts.
In fact, in terms of looks, Chu Xin couldn’t hold a candle to this girl!
Chen Bai squinted slightly. Even in the apocalypse, this woman had quite the reputation.
Song Ge.
The recognized campus belle of Jiangcheng University.
Song Ge crossed her arms, sizing Chen Bai up from head to toe.
“How is it that just a few days away, and you seem like a completely different person?”
Chen Bai looked at her. Of course he’d changed—he now had decades of experience and memories from the apocalypse.
“Is there something you need?” Chen Bai’s tone toward Song Ge was indifferent.
Song Ge shook her head. “Not really, just heard you were here messing around with some little nurse—Chu Xin, wasn’t it?”
Chen Bai raised an eyebrow. This woman was truly self-absorbed.
“I just wanted to ask… what does that nurse have that I don’t?”
Her words almost made Chen Bai laugh out loud.
This girl’s arrogant, overbearing personality hadn’t changed one bit from past to present.
Willful, spoiled, and completely self-important—every negative stereotype of a wealthy young lady could be pinned on this woman.
She was the complete opposite of those kind, considerate, gentle campus belles in romance novels.
Chen Bai had grown up alone, managing to survive on his own and get himself into Jiangcheng University.
His social experience and maturity level far exceeded that of these students still in their ivory towers.
To him, this so-called “rich and beautiful” girl, interested in him purely for his looks, would get bored in a few months and end things.
There was no meaning in it—a waste of time and energy.
However, with the apocalypse coming in a few days, as he looked at Song Ge’s exceptional figure and appearance, Chen Bai chuckled and said:
“None of them compare to you. But I’m still not particularly interested…”
Song Ge felt a rush of anger that left her visibly flushed. But Chen Bai’s next words stunned her into silence.
“Though I’m not interested in you, I am quite interested in your mom!”
Song Ge stood there, dumbstruck, watching Chen Bai’s back as he walked away, unable to snap out of it for a long while.
