Chapter 364: Redeeming a New Skill – The Fist of Goddess Finia!
TL: Sungmin
“Thank the heavens His Majesty was here! Otherwise, this goblin would have destroyed the entire bunker!”
“He’s about to die, but even so, what he’s done is already shocking!”
“A mere Goblin—can this race really grow to such an extent? Unbelievable!”
“It has to be His Majesty who acts! Everyone else is all talk and no action!”
A group of elite soldiers murmured among themselves, their tense expressions easing.
From the beginning until now, it had been the Dwarven King relentlessly pursuing Lin Tian, suppressing him completely.
No one had the slightest worry that anything unexpected would happen.
At this moment—
The Dwarven King’s attacks became even fiercer. Lin Tian wanted to open the system store while evading the attacks, but doing both simultaneously was almost impossibly difficult.
However, at this point, there was no other choice.
“Open System Store!” Lin Tian commanded.
He had already tried every trick he had, yet he couldn’t break through this terrifying heavy-armored warrior.
Using Lucky Steal wasn’t an option either—this wasn’t the right moment.
The Dwarven King was currently too consumed with the thrill of the hunt. Heaven knew what kind of nonsense he’d end up stealing if he used it now.
The Dwarven King, growing even more excited, sneered, “System Store? Have you hit a dead end? Why not sign a Master-Servant Contract with me? I’ll spare your life! In fact, I’ll even gift you a full set of God-Slaying armor and weaponry—magic devices of the highest tier! All you have to do is protect our Dwarven Kingdom! I might even support your empire—wipe out the Divine Pantheons—and make you the new god!”
If Berus truly set his mind to it, this was something he could actually accomplish.
If the entire nation committed to forging God-Slaying Magical Devices, they could build a force capable of rivaling any divine faction.
However—
Lin Tian wasn’t about to agree so easily. He glanced at the system and said, “Oh? That’s quite tempting.”
“You’re tempted?”
Hearing this, the Dwarven King’s assault momentarily slowed. He hadn’t said this as an empty promise—
This was a genuine proposal. He wanted to build an army beyond this world that would serve him.
Lin Tian continued, “Yeah, now that I think about it, I was truly arrogant—trying to snatch God-Slaying Weapons by force.”
A moment of sincerity flickered in his eyes—only to be replaced by a flash of cunning malevolence.
A sinister aura radiated from the Goblin—
Deception.
“Hahaha! But I do admire you! A mere Goblin achieving such power—able to crack my Heart of the Abyss—the magic device I’m most proud of! This set of armor is nothing compared to it! In that case, I’ll give you a chance. Someone, bring out the contract!”
The Dwarven King ordered with great pride.
Since Dwarves didn’t use magic, their contracts were always inscribed on magical scrolls.
Taking advantage of this pause, Lin Tian hurriedly browsed the System Store.
This time, he couldn’t afford to inspect everything slowly—he needed to decide fast.
Three major categories: Items, Magic, and Weapons.
Items were too broad—there was no time to browse them.
Weapons? Once he took down this guy, he would have an endless supply.
No need to worry about that.
Besides, this bunker could serve as a future base. If the Divine Pantheon ever joined forces against him, he could hide here and buy himself a significant amount of time.
With this in mind, the best choice was to redeem a magic spell that could break through the Dwarven King’s defense.
He scrolled quickly to the bottom of the Magic section.
Each spell required 600 Life Points.
[Ballad of Sin – Mythic-Class: Chant a sorrowful dirge that affects the minds of everyone in a certain range, amplifying their sinful nature, driving them to madness, and making them attack indiscriminately until they perish.]
This was powerful, but only for causing chaos.
If the Dwarven King went mad, he’d still chase him down.
[Purifying Holy Seal – Mythic-Class: A passive skill. Those marked with the Holy Seal deal 200% increased damage to those tainted with sin.]
[King’s Dominance – Mythic-Class: Intimidates all enemies. Those with combat power 20,000 below the user’s automatically become subordinates. Also allows the user to predict enemy attacks.]
Both of these were excellent, and Lin Tian was very tempted.
But he couldn’t help but curse, “Why are these all buff-type spells?! Damn it—I need something tangible!”
Finally, he spotted something useful.
[Punishment of the Eternal One – Mythic-Class: Grants an immortal system—unlimited lifespan. However, the user can still be wounded and fall ill.]
What the hell?!
This system even sold other systems?!
Lin Tian was speechless. Immortality was worthless in this world.
Strength, wealth, and power didn’t fall into your hands just because time passed.
Any moment, he could be killed by some monster or captured by a slave trader.
Then—
[Fist of Goddess Finia – Mythic-Class: Said to be the divine power of the god overseeing the seven emotions and six desires of all living beings. This fist controls emotions—one strike can maximize a specific emotion, or all emotions at once.]
[Ender’s Magic Eye – Mythic-Class: An eye capable of releasing the power of the End. Each attack inflicts a Layer of the End effect. Depending on the enemy’s strength, between one and one hundred layers can be stacked, instantly erasing them from existence—revival impossible.]
[Ruinbringer’s Strength Rune – Mythic-Class: Grants infinite power growth—limited only by the user’s physical endurance. At minimum, strength increases tenfold.]
At this—
Lin Tian hesitated.
Ender’s Magic Eye. Strength Rune.
Both were incredibly tempting.
Lin Tian was certain that Ender’s Magic Eye would definitely kill the Dwarven King. After all, his movement techniques were still solid—he could stack up to one hundred layers, and no matter how tough the king was, he would surely die.
On the other hand, the Ruinbringer’s Strength Rune was the best fit for him.
His base attributes were already high, and his physical endurance far surpassed most beings.
And he could still continue to grow stronger in the future.
Taking the Strength Rune wouldn’t just solve his current problem—it would be hugely beneficial down the line.
As he hesitated between the two—
The Dwarven King’s voice suddenly rang out, breaking his train of thought.
“Goblin, what are you waiting for? You have three seconds. If you don’t sign this contract, you can die forever!”
Around him, countless mocking gazes bore down.
“Tch, thought he could take our stronghold, and now he’s turning himself into a slave instead—ha!”
“A ridiculous Goblin! No matter how strong, when he sees us, he still has to kneel!”
“This is truly satisfying!”
At this moment—
Lin Tian hesitated, stretching out a finger. Signing the contract required magic power to be inscribed.
But at the same time, he opened the system.
He was about to make a bold decision!
Neither Ender’s Magic Eye nor Ruinbringer’s Strength Rune—
Instead, he chose to redeem the Fist of Goddess Finia!
As much as he wanted a purely violent offensive skill, thinking carefully—it wasn’t the right fit. Not for him, not for a Goblin.
A skill like that would make him too noticeable, too much of a target.
Most importantly, the other two skills would shatter the Dwarven King’s armor.
Lin Tian was very satisfied with that armor—he absolutely couldn’t risk damaging it.
But with Fist of Goddess Finia, he could defeat the Dwarven King without harming the armor!
Purely in terms of potential, Lin Tian believed it was just as strong as the Strength Rune.
“Confirm exchange for Fist of Goddess Finia?”
A system notification popped up.
It was, after all, a very precious ability.
Lin Tian gave a firm nod—Exchange successful! A light jolt of electric pain tingled in his brain.
The Dwarven King was already growing impatient.
“You’re stalling? Trying to pull tricks? Let me tell you—even if I stand here and let you hit me, you still can’t defeat me. Give it up!”
Lin Tian grinned.
“Oh, of course! I deeply admire His Majesty’s wisdom and strength. I’ll sign the contract right now.”
As he spoke, he extended his magic-infused finger—
Then suddenly turned it into a fist—
And slammed it directly into the Dwarven King’s chest!
BANG!
A deep, metallic clang echoed.
The Dwarven King staggered back a few steps, his face twisting in rage.
“You dare trick me? DIE!!!”
He immediately raised his Ten Thousand-Wheel Blade, aiming straight for Lin Tian’s head!
He had planned to keep him alive for potential use—
But now?
Better to kill him outright and avoid any trouble.
If he wanted a puppet, he could find plenty of others. Lin Tian was not essential.
But in the very next second—
The Dwarven King, still holding his blade high, froze in place.
“W-What’s happening? I… I feel…”
He hurriedly lowered his weapon, his eyes darting around, his throat suddenly dry.
He swallowed hard.
“Y-Your Majesty? What’s wrong? Are you alright?”
A Dwarven Marquis stepped forward in concern.
This was Berun, Berus’s own younger brother.
Though he lacked his brother’s forging talent, he had used connections to secure his noble rank.
The Dwarven King turned to look at him—
And underneath his helmet, his eyes shone with an unnatural gleam.
“Berun, I… I…”
“What do you mean ‘I’? Speak, Brother! Did that Goblin’s punch do something to you?”
Berun was utterly confused, his anxiety growing.
The other Dwarves felt the same.
The Dwarven King’s expression suddenly changed.
His voice took on a strange, almost flamboyant tone.
“Berun, my dear… I never realized how charming you looked from the side.”
Berun: “…”
The Dwarves: “…”
“I’ve never asked you for anything in my life, dear brother. But today, I beg you—help me! I can’t take it anymore!”
The Dwarven King lunged forward, arms outstretched to grab him.
Berun’s instincts kicked in instantly—he leaped back several steps in horror.
“What the hell are you saying?! Have you lost your mind?!”
In just a few seconds,
Everyone was stunned.
Dwarves didn’t have gay people.
This was the first one.
And the King? The God of Forging himself?!
Unbelievable.
The Dwarven King suddenly realized what was happening—
But his entire body felt like it was burning in a furnace.
He was overcome with a deep, suffocating heat.
He demanded, “Goblin! What did you do to me?! Why am I like this?! Why does everyone suddenly look so—so—tempting?!”
Hearing this, the surrounding Dwarves grimaced in disgust.
In their culture, masculinity was everything.
Not having a beard was already considered shameful.
If he actually turned out to be… this…
His own father might regret not killing him at birth.
Lin Tian, expression serious, spoke with absolute sincerity—
“Don’t blame me, you filthy pervert. Do you think I could have made you like this?”
The Dwarven King was no fool.
“You despicable Goblin! You’re vile and cunning! I should have killed you the moment I had the chance!!!”
Since things had come to this—
Lin Tian dropped the act.
Just now, Lin Tian had used Fist of Goddess Finia, pushing the Dwarven King’s lust to its absolute peak.
He refused to believe the king could endure it forever—he’d have to step out of that armor eventually.
And sure enough—
The Dwarven King was already struggling to hold on, frozen in place, panting wildly, trying to calm himself down—
But it was useless.
Anyone struck by Fist of Goddess Finia would remain in that state for at least thirty minutes.
Berun couldn’t hold back his shouting—
“Your Majesty! Brother! What the hell is happening to you?! Speak!!”
“I… I want to—!!! No! No, I have to resist! Resist! Kill him! Kill him now!”
The Dwarven King’s emotions spiraled out of control.
Everyone he looked at suddenly seemed so elegant, so captivating!
But—there was still a shred of reason left in him.
He swung up his Ten Thousand-Wheel Blade, charging straight at Lin Tian—
If he could just kill Lin Tian immediately, he could strip off his armor and find a Dwarven woman to satisfy himself!
“Ten seconds! Just hold on for ten seconds! AHHHHH!!!”
The Dwarven King roared, desperately reassuring himself.
His body felt like it was about to explode.
Even a certain part of his armor was starting to warp from the pressure!
Lin Tian frowned, realizing something he hadn’t considered.
“Didn’t expect this… Well then—let’s add another layer.”
Just pushing his lust to the max wasn’t enough—
It made him furious, filling him with the urge to kill.
So—
Lin Tian sidestepped the Dwarven King’s attack—
And struck him again with Fist of Goddess Finia!
This time—
He pushed his fear to the absolute limit!
“Y-YOU! YOU—!!!”
The Dwarven King’s attacking hand froze mid-swing, trembling violently.
He quivered uncontrollably, his entire body shaking in terror.
To him—
Lin Tian suddenly appeared like a Demon God, descending upon the world to consume everything.
It was utterly impossible to fight back!
And yet—his mind still burned with desire.
The two emotions clashed violently, forming an impossible mental deadlock, pushing him to the verge of breaking apart.
Lin Tian’s lips curled into a smirk.
“As expected of a system-created skill—flawless.”
No one in this world was prepared for this kind of attack.
Unless they were masters of self-discipline, like monks, there was no way to resist it.
And let’s be honest—every strong figure in this world indulged in excess.
They were used to pleasure, to enjoyment—
So getting hit by something like this? No one could withstand it.
The Dwarven King collapsed to his knees, groaning in pure agony.
“W-What’s happening to me?! What did you do to me?! AHHH! I’M LOSING MY MIND!!”
“Goblin! I surrender! I beg you! I’ll give you anything you want! Just make this stop!!”
“W-What?! Your Majesty—what are you saying?!”
“This is impossible! We must kill him immediately!”
“This… this can’t be real! Is this the end for us?!”
The Dwarves around them descended into panic as they heard Berus begging for mercy.
Hearing this—
Lin Tian grinned innocently.
“See? That wasn’t so hard, was it?”
“I’ll spare you—but you have to forge God-Slaying Weapons and magical devices for me.”
“D-Deal! I’ll do whatever you want! Honestly, it’s not even that bad of a deal! I regret not thinking of it sooner! Now please—fix me!”
The Dwarven King crawled on his knees, groveling at Lin Tian’s feet, begging desperately.
But Lin Tian swiftly dodged aside.
“Disgusting. Stay the hell away from me. If you want to fix yourself, do it yourself.”
“M-Myself?! F-Fine! FINE!!”
The Dwarven King turned around—his eyes darting wildly, searching for someone—
But none of the surrounding Dwarves looked even remotely satisfying.
And then—his gaze landed on his younger brother.
Berun.
“Crack… crack… crack…”
The Ganggu Armor slowly opened.
The Dwarven King burst out like a starving beast, lunging at Berun like a ravenous wolf!
“YOUR MAJESTY! BROTHER!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!”
“AHHHHH!!! AHH—!!”
Berun’s screams of resistance soon turned to whimpers of submission.
The surrounding Dwarves wished they were dead. This was the most disgusting, horrifying thing they had ever witnessed. They would rather have lost a battle than see this.
But as they stood there in stunned silence—
Lin Tian calmly walked toward the Ganggu Armor, his eyes glimmering with excitement.
