From Goblin to Goblin God - Chapter 322
Chapter 322: Continent of the Gods, Gabriel and Michael!
TL: Sungmin
Under the forced control of the Zerg Core, the Zerg Queen became no different from the Zerg soldiers she had once controlled.
Despite her unwillingness, she had no choice but to comply.
“Damn goblin, you’ll die a horrible death!”
The Zerg Queen spat venomously, her thoughts still exceptionally clear.
Her Zerg Core had been seized by Lin Tian, reducing her to a mere puppet.
A large number of eggs began to fall like a torrential downpour, their surfaces covered in a white membrane.
Through the translucent layer, curled green-skinned goblins could be vaguely seen inside.
Thunk!
Inside one of the eggs, a perfect variant goblin suddenly opened its scarlet eyes.
It tore through the nutrient membrane and emerged.
The creature let out a chilling roar!
A powerful aura spread in all directions, terrifying the hybrid goblins nearby, sending them fleeing in panic.
They shivered uncontrollably!
It was an innate suppression from their genes!
Even if one of these goblins might have been its father.
One after another, other eggs began to crack open.
A flood of perfect variant goblins appeared within the breeding base.
They swarmed like an endless ocean!
From birth, each stood nearly two meters tall with a muscular and robust physique.
Their faces were green, their fangs sharp.
They immediately reached the overlord-tier level.
This was the strength of the Zerg Queen’s stored eggs—they were able to supply the unborn with experience and help them grow while still in their embryonic state.
Born at their peak.
The terrifying presence of these magical beasts spread like a thunderstorm, oppressing everything around them!
With just a thought from Lin Tian, the goblins began to form orderly ranks.
Their demeanor was unparalleled.
Their combined overall strength reached five thousand! These goblins were leagues above the previous generation.
If equipped with armor and weapons, their strength could even reach seven thousand!
Witnessing this awe-inspiring scene—
Even someone like Lucifer, who had commanded the Demon Race for tens of thousands of years and had once been Jehovah’s Left-Wing Archangel commanding countless angels—
Felt a sense of astonishment at the sight of these soldiers.
“How is this possible? Born with such strength, and they even emit… a divine aura!”
Lucifer expressed disbelief, glancing at Lin Tian.
What sort of monster was this guy?
This wasn’t anything as simple as a goblin anymore!
If this army reached sufficient numbers, it could destroy anything, conquer anything!
Lin Tian calmly explained, “This is the Zerg Queen’s ability. She can produce any type of offspring—divine, or even demonic.”
With her as his breeding machine, he was entirely at ease.
Now, all he needed was for Scarlett to unlock all the available races, and creating a god-slaying army would be no problem.
The issue of low-level combat power had been resolved.
This would become the strongest army in the world.
And there was no fear of rebellion, as long as the goblins weren’t allowed to evolve into Goblin Kings.
“The Zerg Queen, Scarlett, Divine types—you might be the real disaster for this world. Hahaha.”
Lucifer quickly regained his composure, making a playful remark.
However, this time, he only appeared calm on the surface. Deep down, he now felt genuinely threatened by Lin Tian!
If necessary, he’d have to impose control in the future.
Hearing this—
Lin Tian maintained a humble demeanor. “What are you saying? Goblins are merely the weakest, most inferior creatures in the world. Nobody cares about them.”
“Really? The people who didn’t care were wiped out by you. Their nations were destroyed, their lands seized, and their heads chopped off.” Lucifer’s words carried deeper meaning.
For now, though, it seemed they had enough power to deal with the angels.
All that was left was to wait for the battle to begin.
“Be careful. Gabriel and the others have started making moves. If Jehovah grants them special permission to descend and kill you, don’t blame me.”
“I need to return and prepare all the demons for war. See you later.”
Lucifer spoke as he tore open a Gate of Hell and elegantly stepped inside.
Special permission?
Lin Tian grew vigilant. He hadn’t anticipated this possibility. If the angels descended to kill him now—
He truly wasn’t confident he could escape unscathed.
He quickly issued orders. “From now on, stop storing eggs. Produce ninety million perfect variant goblins first, then resume storage.”
The goblins born this way would certainly be the weakest kind.
But Lin Tian currently had no shortage of experience resources—he still had two mountains of snow crystals untouched.
Using them to raise the goblins to level 70 or 80 and evolve them into overlord variants would provide sufficient battle strength.
Two months. The time frame was entirely feasible.
…
Heaven.
A magnificent, enormous castle floated above the clouds.
It basked in a golden-hued dusk, picturesque and poetic.
The sacred melody of a hymn faintly echoed through the air.
Within the resplendent and luxurious grand hall, a gilded statue of Jesus stood at the highest point, awe-inspiring in its presence.
The holy aura radiated throughout the hall, spilling out into the skies and enveloping half of the heavens.
Nearby, two angel statues with twelve wings appeared lifelike.
They held sharp blades and long spears, exuding solemnity and majesty!
Every being entering this Judgement Hall couldn’t help but repent for their sins, yearning for divine forgiveness.
It was a probing impact straight to the soul!
Unavoidable and irresistible.
Within this hall, angels with delicate features and feather-light wings stood, dressed in silver armor. Their red skirts swayed around their legs.
They wore dignified half-helms, and beneath their visors, their golden eyes gleamed with stern solemnity.
They gazed upwards with grave expressions.
At the highest seat sat none other than the twelve-winged Seraph, Gabriel.
She lounged elegantly, one leg crossed over the other. Her clean red cape draped to the ground, her beauty exuding power and control, radiating confidence that feared nothing.
There was an air of resemblance to Lucifer.
Or perhaps it was a shared aura among the supremely strong and the rulers.
Her gaze was both deeply enchanting and icy indifferent.
It gave off a sense that she could toy with anyone at her whim.
No matter how breathtaking her beauty, no one dared harbor inappropriate thoughts.
“Time has dragged on long enough. It’s time to deal with those magical beasts in the mortal world,” Gabriel’s crimson lips parted slightly as she spoke.
Her calm tone carried a trace of anger!
It was like the suffocating calm before the storm.
She continued, “According to the mortal chronicles, the leader of the magical beasts, Goblin King Lin Tian, has killed angels, destroyed the Church, and plunged humanity into chaos. His sins have reached the point of no forgiveness! This time, we shall annihilate him and his forces completely. No need for judgment!”
Below, the powerful angels’ faces were cold and stern. None spoke.
They silently affirmed Gabriel’s command.
After all, they had witnessed the angel Javier die miserably at Lin Tian’s hands.
Such a blasphemous act had utterly enraged all of Heaven.
For tens of thousands of years, Heaven had not mobilized its forces on such a grand scale.
The news would be unbelievable if spread—Heaven deploying all its power to deal with a single goblin.
The last time this happened was during an all-out war with the demons.
That war had crushed the demons so completely that they fled to Hell, never daring to emerge again.
It showcased Heaven’s overwhelming holy power in full glory!
“Your Highness, what about the aftermath in the Wastelands? Under the Goblin King’s influence, chaos has erupted there. Surely we can’t…”
At this moment, a pure and graceful young woman spoke softly from the side.
Though her face appeared youthful, her bearing carried an indescribable aura of authority.
Her twelve golden and white wings stood out, dazzling and awe-inspiring.
She was the Seraph Michael, equal in rank to Gabriel.
After Lucifer’s fall, she had quickly risen to take his position.
Though younger, her presence was no less commanding.
Hearing this, Gabriel’s beautiful eyes revealed a hint of solemnity. Some matters weren’t suited to be discussed in such a setting.
She replied, “I’ll find a way to resolve it. Begin your preparations for war.”
With that, Gabriel lifted her long, slender leg.
Swish!
The sound of her cape slicing through the air echoed through the grand hall.
Gabriel turned and left.
…
The scene shifted.
A pair of silver combat boots with small wings landed lightly by a lakeside.
The lake’s surface was as still as an ancient well, as if undisturbed for millennia.
The surrounding forest and grasslands were brushed by a refreshing breeze.
A few luminous birds chirped softly on the branches.
Dim and hazy sunlight poured over the area, making it resemble a beautiful, sweet dream.
This was Eden.
The dwelling place of Heaven’s God, the Almighty.
Gabriel stood silently by the shore, waiting for something.
“Long time no see, Lady Gabriel Mistiel. You’ve grown even more beautiful~”
Suddenly, a man appeared on the surface of the lake, though it was unclear when he arrived.
His pale body, almost sickly, was exposed, with only a rough cloth wrapped around his waist.
Standing at about 1.9 meters tall, his frame was lean but well-defined.
His glowing blue eyes were framed by lashes as long as those of a noblewoman.
Golden curls cascaded down his head, damp as though freshly washed.
He gazed at Gabriel with deep affection, walking across the ripples toward the shore.
He was Adam, the Guardian of Eden.
The human said to have been personally created by God.
He naturally possessed a Divine Core.
Hearing his words, Gabriel responded coldly, “Stop wasting my time, kid. Things are critical right now. Do you have any news from His Majesty?”
“As long as you want him, he’s always here~ Besides, I’m a few thousand years older than you, little one,” Adam teased back.
His gaze lingered on Gabriel, almost dripping with desire.
After all, after spending tens of thousands of years in this desolate place, it was rare to see a decent woman.
And this one was a stunning goddess.
At that moment, Gabriel felt a tug on her skirt.
She turned to see a golden-haired little girl at her feet, looking up at her with wide, expectant eyes.
“Big Sister Gabriel, Lord God said to just follow your own judgment,” the little girl said softly, her voice sweet and delicate.
Golden stars adorned the corners of her eyes, giving her an adorably innocent appearance.
She was Eve.
God had created her from one of Adam’s ribs using divine magic, to keep Adam from feeling lonely in Eden.
The legend of Adam and Eve eating the forbidden fruit?
To Adam, Eve was more like his own daughter—after all, she was literally made from his flesh. How could he have eaten the forbidden fruit with her?
Adam approached indulgently, scooping her into his arms. “Little Eve, don’t sneak up on Sister Gabriel like that next time. She’s very scary, you know.”
“How could that be? Sister Gabriel is so beautiful~”
Eve blinked her wide, sparkling eyes in confusion, glancing at Gabriel with curiosity.
Adam explained unabashedly, “She’s known as the Angel Executioner. Now, if it were Sister Michael, you could play with her—she has a heart as merciful as the Holy Mother.”
Gabriel paid no attention to their conversation. Receiving instructions from God was all that mattered to her.
Looking into the void, she said, “Lord God, I understand! But please grant me permission to descend to the mortal realm, as divine interference is not permitted…”
From the void, a golden light blossomed.
A key slowly descended from the heavens, drifting into Gabriel’s hand.
It was the key to the Gate of Heaven.
“Let’s go play. Who knows what schemes that scary sister is plotting again,” Adam said, holding Eve as they strolled across the lake and into the verdant forest.
Schemes?
Gabriel let out a disdainful snort and turned to leave.
To her, this was divine will.
Once the Angel Army eradicated Lin Tian, not all magical beasts should be wiped out.
Eliminating all evil would threaten the divine hierarchy.
If all villains disappeared, then heroes would lose their purpose entirely.
As a god, Gabriel was bound by the Covenant of the Gods, which forbade direct interference in the mortal realm unless the divine order itself was threatened.
This meant it was impossible to rebuild the Church and develop new followers in the Wastelands—the territories occupied by Lin Tian.
The task had to be delegated.
The best candidates for the job were the forces of the Demigod Empire.
They were strong enough and wouldn’t violate the Covenant of the Gods.
As for the details of the covenant and why gods were forbidden from interference, Gabriel herself didn’t know.
That knowledge was reserved for the Principal Gods—beings like Jehovah, Zeus, Odin, and Horus.
Gabriel returned to the Angelic Hall and summoned Michael.
Hearing the call, Michael, who had been preparing for battle, flew into the hall cheerfully. “What is it, Your Highness? What did Lord God say?”
Her personality was lively and joyous.
Before becoming an angel, she had been the continent’s most famous Holy Mother figure.
Merciful, kind, and immensely powerful.
Gabriel’s expression remained ice-cold, a stark contrast to Michael’s warm demeanor. “He granted me temporary permission to descend. Let’s go; we’re heading to the Continent of the Gods.”
The Continent of the Gods was the region where the Demigod Empires resided, beyond the Uninhabited Zone.
“Why are we going there?” Michael asked, puzzled.
Gabriel’s serious gaze met Michael’s eyes. After a pause, she replied, “To uphold divine authority, of course.”
Certain matters were deeply sensitive among the gods.
Gabriel shared this only because Michael now held the position of Left-Wing Seraph.
Still, she planned to take only Michael with her—not to launch an attack on Lin Tian.
Rebuilding the Church, regaining followers, and safeguarding divine authority were far more critical than eliminating Lin Tian.
Seeing Gabriel’s grave expression, Michael didn’t press further.
The two headed directly to the Holy Plaza.
Taking out the key, Gabriel slowly unlocked the Gate of Heaven.
