Chapter 320: Five Months of Explosive Growth for All Members!
TL: Sungmin
Before them stood towering snow-capped mountains, grand and majestic.
The sheer number of snow crystals used for measurement had already surpassed tens of billions.
A massive number of snow spirits were forcibly made to produce snow crystals. Each fairy could produce thousands of crystals daily before they perished.
The snow spirit chieftain were tasked with summoning new snow spirits, maintaining this cruel cycle of production. Only through this unending repetition could such an enormous stockpile be amassed.
“So many… Damn,” Lin Tian muttered, not with joy but with a sigh.
How long would it take to consume all this?
Reaching from level 99 to 100 already required tens of thousands of snow crystals. At level 106, each new level required exponentially more experience. To reach level 200, he would need to consume all of it.
He quickly called over a goblin. “Go back and deliver a message. I’ll be staying here for quite a while. Make sure they don’t slack off in their training, and keep an eye on the movements of both demons and angels.”
At present, there were still about seven months left before the Gate of Heaven would open again. Eating through these tens of billions of snow crystals would take at least several months.
“As you command, Boss,” a snow goblin replied respectfully.
Standing amidst the vast snowfield, with these mountains of snow crystals towering before him, Lin Tian appeared as a lone, determined warrior.
He approached the base of one mountain, dove straight in, and brushed away the surface snow. Sure enough, he found countless pristine and translucent snow crystals beneath.
He wasted no time and began consuming them.
Fortunately, chewing wasn’t necessary—merely placing them in his mouth allowed absorption. Otherwise, he’d have worn out hundreds of sets of teeth.
…
Time flew by.
In the blink of an eye, five months had passed.
At Heart Lake.
The massive surface of the lake was crystal clear, with a fish joyfully chasing a floating leaf.
Suddenly, ripples spread from above the fish’s head.
Moments later, a terrifying wave—over ten meters high—came crashing down!
Whoosh!
On the lake’s edge, the One-Eyed Owl, clad in light armor and wielding a knuckle-duster, was locked in fierce combat. Her entire body radiated a deep crimson aura!
With each punch, waves of energy erupted, causing massive surges across the lake!
In front of her was a green figure darting about to evade.
“B-Big Sis! I give up! Don’t get too excited!”
The speaker was Gobu Kuang, his expression filled with frustration as he frantically dodged.
The One-Eyed Owl smirked, brimming with fighting spirit. “Don’t worry! We’re just warming up!”
Whoosh!
Another punch thundered forth, its energy tearing through the forest like an unstoppable dragon, leaving destruction in its wake.
The scene was breathtaking.
Gobu Kuang sighed in exasperation. “Fine, but I’ll have to get serious now! Hell Domain!”
Instantly, a dark aura expanded in all directions!
The air turned ominous and oppressive. Plants and grass withered the moment they came into contact with it.
With the power of the Hell Hero, Gobu Kuang’s abilities received a massive boost within the domain. His muscles visibly bulged, and his rage intensified.
A moment ago, he had been helplessly chased around by the One-Eyed Owl like a toy.
Crack, crack, crack!
The ground around Gobu Kuang shattered as his crimson aura flared! His strength surged once more, exuding an overwhelming pressure that spread in all directions.
From afar, Gobu Yue looked on with concern. “Lady Alice, shouldn’t we stop them? It’ll be bad if someone gets hurt.”
“I’ll keep an eye on things,” Alice replied with a nod.
Gobu Tian and the others were amazed. “Wow, when Brother Kuang gets serious, his pressure is no joke.”
“Well, I’m coming for you!” Gobu Kuang gritted his teeth and lunged forward.
The One-Eyed Owl shrugged, unconcerned.
In the blink of an eye, Gobu Kuang’s fist was inches from her face, about to land a direct hit!
Everyone held their breath in tension.
“Ahhhh!”
A powerful and commanding female roar erupted, blasting Gobu Kuang dozens of meters away!
The Hell Battle Cry of a Hell Warrior resounded, completely dispelling the Hell Domain.
The One-Eyed Owl smirked disdainfully. “I’ll use just a fifth of my strength. Hang in there, Kuang, alright?”
With that, she rushed forward again.
Faced with her incoming punch, Gobu Kuang had no time to dodge and could only raise his arms to block.
He had been fully confident in his ability to withstand the blow.
Crack!
But the sound of breaking filled the air as both his arms shattered like fragile eggshells!
Whoosh!
The residual force sent him flying another hundred meters, carving a long trail through the forest.
“That’s impossible!” Gobu Tian and the others exclaimed in shock.
Moments earlier, Gobu Kuang had seemed immensely powerful!
Reacting swiftly, the group hurried to retrieve the unconscious Gobu Kuang and brought him to Katheryn for healing. Fortunately, his shattered arms could be restored using World-Class Healing Magic.
The One-Eyed Owl looked embarrassed. “I think I may have overdone it…”
“It’s not your fault, Lady Elizabeth. His Majesty said Gobu Kuang needs to stack Gluttony and Wrath on the battlefield, followed by his domain, to unleash his full power,” Alice explained.
Earlier, Gobu Kuang hadn’t even utilized a third of his strength.
Even so, if he had gone all out, it was unlikely he could match the One-Eyed Owl.
At that moment, Gobu Shan mustered his courage. “Your Highness, Big Sis, let me have a go. After five months of training, I’d like to test the results.”
Hearing this, the One-Eyed Owl naturally didn’t refuse. “Alright, but it seems I’m being underestimated. Why is everyone challenging me instead of Lady Alice?”
“You can call me weak, but don’t call me stupid,” Gobu Shan replied with a bitter smile.
Who would dare to challenge Alice? One swing of her sword, imbued with a power that countered all, would leave you writhing in pain—or worse, outright dead if you weren’t careful.
The others stepped back to make room.
“Mythic-Class Magic: Wall of Bones!”
Gobu Shan immediately activated his “domain.”
It was technically not a domain, as it materialized into tangible bones. Unlike conventional domains, it couldn’t be dispersed by battle cries. The only way to eliminate it was to physically destroy the wall.
The reason for starting with this move was simple: inside the Wall of Bones, he could achieve near-immortality, unless he was outright vaporized.
Clack, clack, clack!
Countless bones began separating from Gobu Shan’s body. Dense and innumerable, they blotted out the sky like a massive magnetic field.
The bones spread outward, piecing together into an enormous wall that encircled him and the One-Eyed Owl.
Gobu Yue, observing the distinct and terrifying structure, gasped. “Oh my god, how can he produce so many bones from his body? He could probably form an entire castle with that.”
The wall spanned roughly ten kilometers, significantly smaller than other domain-type abilities, but it had its unique advantages.
“I’m coming, Big Sis!” Gobu Shan announced, his face now shielded by a thick bone mask, resembling a metallic visor. His eyes glowed crimson.
At that moment, his entire body was covered in white bones—not as a skeleton, but as a fusion of flesh and bone. He appeared robust and imposing.
The One-Eyed Owl barely acknowledged him with a hum before her brow furrowed. She quickly dodged.
Whoosh!
A sharp bone spike shot up from the ground, over ten meters tall, its emergence both sudden and awe-inspiring.
The One-Eyed Owl smirked devilishly. “Kid, you’re not pulling any punches, huh? Don’t blame me then!”
“When facing you, I must give my all and can’t afford to hold back,” Gobu Shan said seriously. “The gap between us is too large.”
Clack, clack, clack.
The sound of bones snapping together echoed as a massive skeletal hand, formed from the wall, emerged. Towering and colossal, it reached for the One-Eyed Owl, casting a destructive wind pressure that snapped trees in its path.
The One-Eyed Owl didn’t bother dodging. Instead, she prepared a powerful punch.
Boom!
The skeletal hand shattered instantly.
Seeing this, Gobu Shan’s heart sank. The gap was too wide; a head-on clash wasn’t viable against the One-Eyed Owl.
In that brief moment of hesitation, the One-Eyed Owl shot forward like a bullet.
Crack!
Her punch pierced Gobu Shan’s body, scattering bone fragments everywhere.
Buzz, buzz, buzz!
On the ground, the shattered bones trembled and rapidly reassembled. Gobu Shan, now sweating profusely, took flight on a newly formed pair of bone wings. If she hadn’t allowed him to set up the Wall of Bones, he would already be dead.
The One-Eyed Owl, aware of his revival, grinned. “Fighting you is fun! It’s a great workout.”
She tightened the muscles in her legs, showcasing precise, pulsating lines of definition.
Whoosh!
In an instant, she leaped into the air and punched Gobu Shan mid-flight, shattering him once again.
Upon revival, Gobu Shan roared, “Thousand-Handed Evil Bone!”
Massive bone hands emerged one after another, seemingly endless as they descended upon the battlefield.
Each hand, several dozen meters large, created a scene of unparalleled grandeur, the visual impact overwhelming.
But the One-Eyed Owl shattered them all with ease. Despite their reinforcement, capable of withstanding others’ attacks, they crumbled under her relentless assault.
Each of her punches carried a force of several dozen tons.
Finally, Gobu Shan collapsed from exhaustion. “How… how can this be? How can I ever help the Boss?”
He had exhausted every trick but failed to even scratch her.
However, the One-Eyed Owl was also worn out, unable to muster the energy to fly and pursue Gobu Shan any further.
“Hmm? There’s an opening!”
Gobu Shan’s eyes lit up as he darted into the forest, grabbing an animal carcass and devouring it.
As long as he could recover his stamina, he could unleash another round of Thousand-Handed Evil Bone to completely drain the One-Eyed Owl’s energy.
Seeing this, the One-Eyed Owl quickly noticed his plan. “This guy… he’s as cunning as that brat Lin Tian. I heard he’s one of his direct descendants? No wonder…”
Still, she had enough stamina left for now.
She turned toward the Wall of Bones.
Though it looked impressive, it was, in reality, a useless gimmick.
For melee combatants, it was easily breakable. For magic users, breaking it consumed large amounts of mana, making it inefficient.
Standing at the base of the Wall of Bones, the One-Eyed Owl controlled her breathing.
Her unique breathing technique allowed her to optimize her strength.
Boom!
With a precise punch, her energy dispersed perfectly across the Wall of Bones.
Rumble!
With just one strike, a thousand-meter section of the wall collapsed into ruins.
She repeated the process.
The continuous rumbling of the Wall of Bones collapsing echoed nonstop.
Gobu Shan, still waiting for his stamina to recover, was left dumbfounded. “Big Sis, I surrender!”
He immediately fell to his knees and begged for mercy.
Without the protection of the Wall of Bones, he would truly die if she struck him again.
The One-Eyed Owl smirked smugly. “You’re certainly tricky to deal with, mainly because you’re far craftier than Gobu Kuang. That’s an improvement.”
“Uh…” Gobu Shan chuckled awkwardly. “How am I crafty?”
Clap! Clap! Clap!
Alice began clapping. “That was impressive. Everyone’s strength has improved significantly. I look forward to seeing how you all perform in the upcoming battles.”
“You lot are doing great. Just a few months apart, and every one of you has grown stronger,” said a voice suddenly, echoing through the area.
Everyone turned, their faces lighting up with excitement.
“Boss! You’re finally back!” Gobu Yue cried as she ran toward him. “I went to look for you in the snow mountains several times but couldn’t find you!”
“Really? I didn’t even know which mountain I was buried under,” Lin Tian replied.
The past five months had been an excruciating bore for him.
If not for the Dream Realm offering a place to rest and dream about things he hadn’t experienced, he might have gone insane.
Like imagining Gabriel or someone else beneath his feet, at his mercy. Or visualizing his own partner as larger than Mount Everest.
Without such fantasies, he wouldn’t have endured.
“Kid, when are we going to fight those feathered mongrel bird people? I can’t wait any longer! Either we fight now, or you’re coming with me!” the One-Eyed Owl demanded, cracking her knuckles.
The past six months had been dull for her, spent bullying Gobu Kuang and the others for amusement.
Above all, without men around, there had been no excitement in her life.
Lin Tian quickly intervened, “Don’t be hasty. We still need to prepare and discuss things with Lucifer. This time, it’s a joint operation with the demons, not a solo war.”
“Teaming up with demons?”
Everyone was visibly surprised.
Deep down, they still harbored fear and distrust toward demons.
Lin Tian, sensing their hesitation, explained, “Don’t worry. I have methods to keep them in check.”
As long as he didn’t open the Gate of Eden, Lucifer and his crew wouldn’t dare turn on him.
Reassured, everyone let go of their doubts and trusted Lin Tian’s words.
Just as Lin Tian was about to head back to the main city to discuss matters with Celeste, the One-Eyed Owl grabbed him.
“Hey, didn’t you hear me? Either we fight now, or you’re coming with me!”
At this, Gobu Yue and Alice glanced sideways at the One-Eyed Owl’s expression.
They weren’t rushing, but she was.
Earlier, she’d been shy and reserved like a proper lady. Now, she wasn’t even trying to hide her impatience.
“If you go back, there won’t be another chance for you to come with me. Hurry up!” the One-Eyed Owl urged.
With no other choice, Lin Tian relented. “Fine, we’ll stop by the Succubus House on the way. We can find somewhere to talk there, alright?”
Despite spending five months in the snowy mountains, Lin Tian felt no particular hunger or thirst now.
After all, the Dream Realm was the ultimate fantasy tool.
Anything he desired, he could create within it.
It was the perfect ability for a homebody.
Satisfied with his answer, the One-Eyed Owl smiled. “Now that’s more like it.”
After enduring countless trials, Lin Tian finally made his way to the Succubus House.
He’d lost two kilograms over the past months, but even as he gazed at the alluring, elegant succubi, he felt nothing.
Instead, he headed straight for the top floor, to Celeste’s office.
