From Goblin to Goblin God - Chapter 300
Chapter 300: The Power of the Angel, Impossible!
TL: Sungmin
“That aura… How dare you steal the exclusive forbidden magic of high demons?! Vile creature! I should have killed you first!”
At that moment, Nanavis’s voice rang out.
Although she cursed him, her gaze betrayed her shock.
The aura radiating from him was even more powerful than her own! He had advanced from a lowly demon transformation skill to Descent of Darkness.
As a high demon, even she hadn’t achieved this. But somehow, a mere middle demon had.
Unbelievable.
Ladrick sneered, his voice full of disdain. “You arrogant fools, so proud of your status as high demons. You’ve wasted so many valuable resources without striving for more. Of course I had to take them for myself.”
His greed extended far beyond gold, treasures, or women.
He hungered for strength.
Knowing his natural limits, he tirelessly sought ways to master abilities beyond his level, constantly studying battle tactics.
Dark energy continued to pour from his body in waves, blanketing the space around them and forming a demonic domain.
His form began to grotesquely mutate, just as Nanavis’s had before.
Muscles swelled in his limbs, tearing his flesh from within.
It seemed as if a new creature was emerging from inside him, chunks of darkened skin shedding off his body.
His fangs and claws became visible.
He appeared brutish, crouched on all fours, breathing out clouds of black vapor like engine exhaust.
He looked like a bloodthirsty beast awakening.
“So… let’s see what your strength amounts to!” Ladrick spoke with amusement.
In his domain, he could suppress his enemies, and demonic attacks received a significant boost.
The One-Eyed Owl charged forward, readying her punch!
“Bang!!”
The shockwave rippled outward!
Unexpectedly, Ladrick caught the punch effortlessly with one hand, completely unmoved.
The One-Eyed Owl stared in disbelief. “Impossible! Is your strength truly so overwhelming?”
“Oh, no. Your power is indeed fearsome—I knew that when I saw you battle Hir to a standstill. You’re simply weaker now.”
With a smirk, Ladrick flung the One-Eyed Owl backward with a reverse swing of his arm.
The scene was staggering!
But the One-Eyed Owl hadn’t finished. Her entire aura surged with a deep red intensity!
She punched again!
Ladrick grew slightly more alert, their fists colliding in a storm of brutal blows, the impact thunderous.
“Hm? What kind of weapon is this? It actually hurt…”
“I won’t waste more time on you!”
“Dark Magic · Death’s Gospel!”
Ladrick began muttering words that were unintelligible yet deeply unsettling.
Anyone who heard his voice within this domain would become disoriented, likely to hurt themselves if they tried to attack.
No one dared move recklessly.
Then, Ladrick launched a ferocious assault on the One-Eyed Owl!
He moved with blinding speed and savage precision, targeting her head, heart, and other vital areas.
The One-Eyed Owl’s eyes grew unfocused; she dared not counterattack, forced only to defend with all her might.
Seeing this,
Alicenia dashed forward to assist, flashing forward with a backward slash, embedding her blade into Ladrick’s back.
But that was all; it couldn’t reach his vital organs.
Here, only holy attacks could break even with him, while all other attacks were suppressed.
Even with the two of them combined, Ladrick held them at bay with ease.
Alicenia’s holy attacks were not directly offensive; they mostly enhanced her sword techniques.
But in the face of demonic suppression, such skills were ineffective.
Only attacks unleashed from a distance held any real potential.
“Hey! What are you just standing there for? We can barely hold on!”
the One-Eyed Owl called out, struggling to defend against his relentless strikes.
She looked tense.
Ladrick was like a rabid beast, attacking them swiftly, ruthlessly, and giving them no time to chant spells.
The shadows of the three figures flashed back and forth across the space; to the average human, the fight would be invisible.
“So, it’s up to me, then? You two, back off. Ladrick, I swear I’ll make you feel the same miserable torment I inflicted on Scarlett.”
Lin Tian’s gaze held no fear, only a steely promise of revenge.
Hearing this, Ladrick chuckled darkly, “Keh keh keh, I know all about your tricks. You won’t get me so easily!”
When Nanavis fell victim to his ambush earlier, Ladrick had paid close attention.
Now, he stayed on guard, prepared for Lin Tian’s signature blood spear sneak attack.
With eighty percent confidence that he could defeat Lin Tian and his allies, Ladrick had chosen to engage in an all-out battle rather than fleeing.
Seeing his confidence, Lin Tian extended his hand, facing Ladrick at a distance of around twenty or thirty meters.
They stared each other down.
“You’re not going to try dodging?” Lin Tian said coldly. “My blood spear is fast—and precise!”
Ladrick’s lips curled up slightly, his tone dismissive. “Hmph, bring it on.”
His plan was simple: seize the blood spear, which would seal his victory. Within his demon domain, he believed defeat was impossible.
“If that’s what you want, then let’s see!” Lin Tian responded, throwing the blood spear directly at Ladrick.
The spear shot forward with blinding speed, slicing through the air with a fierce whistle.
But within the demon domain, Ladrick’s reaction was swift; he sidestepped and caught the blood spear mid-flight.
With a triumphant grin, he sneered, “Keh keh keh! I’ve won! Without this Moonlight-class magic weapon, you don’t stand a chance!”
He turned to gloat at Lin Tian.
And then—his expression froze.
In front of him, a terrifying radiance of holy light surged forth!
“Boom!”
The light engulfed him instantly!
Several magic circles glowed around Lin Tian’s outstretched hand—he had unleashed a holy World-class skill, a gift of the devouring the angel: Judgment Execution.
The ultimate bane of demons! Power straight from the angels!
And with the Trojan Hero’s Power, Lin Tian was immune to the demon’s suppression field.
In fact, short of a true god’s domain, nothing could subdue Lin Tian.
“Ahhh! Wh-what is this?!”
Ladrick screamed in agony within the holy light as his body began to petrify, his muscles dissolving, unable to stop his own despairing cries.
Nanavis, barely clinging to life, looked on in utter shock. “An angel’s aura… You, how could you…?”
She had seen angels use this technique before, but she never imagined she would witness a goblin wield it!
Her entire worldview was collapsing.
In a way, this scene confirmed it: an angel had, indeed, fallen to a goblin.
