From Goblin to Goblin God - Chapter 295
Chapter 295: Lazy Winnie, Die in a Sweet Dream!
TL: Sungmin
“So there’s something like this? Hmph, has the wilderness twisted into such a strange place already?”
Upon witnessing the scene, Nanavis didn’t panic.
She merely found it very bizarre.
However, the monsters charging forward only to meet their deaths let out horrifying screams.
“Run! These goblins can use holy attacks! Ahhh!”
“Damn it, did you see that? That goblin is waving a cross as it charges toward me!”
“Unbelievable! Help!”
Countless monsters shouted in terror, losing all will to resist.
This overwhelming assault had crushed them utterly.
Within mere minutes, their attack had turned into a desperate retreat.
Seeing this.
A cold glint flashed in Nanavis’s eyes. “Pathetic fools, all of you can just die!”
Swish!
With a casual wave of her hand, she crushed thousands of monsters into pulp, leaving a bloody mess.
The remaining monsters froze in terror, trapped between a rock and a hard place.
One twelfth-tier monster knelt down and pleaded, “Lady Nana, we can’t beat these goblins at all! Please, let us go!”
“The power of those holy attacks is too strong! Even a light wound can burn us until we’re dead!”
“You damn wretch! We’ve been sick of you for a long time! Monsters have dignity too! We’re superiors and subordinates, not slaves!”
“Your Goblin Majesty, please spare us! We’ll help you kill this demon!”
“Yeah! If we’re going to die anyway, we might as well take her out first!”
Hearing this.
Lin Tian signaled for his army to halt, smiling as he said, “What’s this? Picking up a few million monsters as soldiers for free? Arrogant Demon King, you seem to be a failure as a leader.”
For a moment.
Nanavis’s face grew dark as ink. “You vile, disgusting creature, you don’t get to judge me! Die!”
Originally, she hadn’t wanted to dirty her hands, but her fury now was off the charts.
She prepared to activate Ultimate Domination.
Yet, she found that her reserves of ultimate dark power were insufficient to initiate domination.
“All of you, attack! Traitors and deserters, I’ll personally execute each of you!” Nanavis threatened fiercely.
To face these goblins herself would be far too degrading.
She would only intervene after every last monster had died.
This was her pride.
Had she acted sooner, perhaps she could have helped Scarlett handle Lin Tian, but she had remained indifferent.
Even now, she was still unwilling to lift a finger.
Swish!
With a slap of her hand, she crushed several thousand more monsters.
Hearing this.
The monster army went utterly mad. “For the goblins! Liberate the Uninhabited Zone!”
“Kill her! That wretch must die! The Uninhabited Zone needs a new ruler!”
“We’ll never yield to your threats! Kill one of us, and thousands more will rise!”
Those who could fly took to the air to confront Nanavis.
Those who couldn’t fly began to climb to the top of the Arrogant Castle.
Lin Tian watched the commotion with delight, finding it all quite entertaining.
Suddenly.
From afar, a powerful aura approached.
“Ara ara, Lady Nana, my apologies. I overslept.”
A young demon girl floated toward them.
The powerful pressure she exuded froze the other monsters in place; none dared move recklessly.
They swallowed nervously, terrified. “Is that… Lazy Winnie? Damn it, the worst one is here!”
With cold eyes, Nanavis ordered, “You arrived just in time. Go take care of those goblins. And kill the rest of those filthy traitors as well; let them all sleep forever in a dream.”
“Understood. But where are the other Lords of Sin? Why haven’t I seen them?” Winnie asked in surprise.
By all rights, Ladrick and Gluttony should at least have shown up.
Hearing this.
Nanavis’s eyes glowed crimson. “Hmph, those failures. Once this is over, I’ll kill them too. Their existence is nothing but a waste of the Uninhabited Zone’s resources…”
A few drops of cold sweat beaded on Winnie’s forehead, and she forced an awkward smile. “Then I’ll go deal with the goblins first. Are you sure you want me to kill everyone else as well?”
Her tone was filled with arrogant confidence.
A chill ran through everyone present.
Especially the monsters who had moments ago been bursting with courage; they now started fleeing in sheer panic.
Facing Nanavis might have seemed possible, but to go up against Winnie? No chance.
And indeed, it was true.
Her Dream Realm could trap up to a hundred thousand enemies at once, slaughtering them within mere moments.
Its range was vast.
“Kill them all…” Nanavis replied icily.
Hearing this.
The monsters collectively began begging for mercy. “No! No, Lady Nana, we’ll go kill the goblins now! Spare us, please!”
“Princess Winnie, please! I beg you, don’t be her lapdog!”
“Ahhh! We’re finished! Everything is finished!”
Lazy Winnie drifted slowly toward the center, an intensely wicked smile spread across her face.
Her gaze locked onto Lin Tian in the middle of the monstrous horde.
She murmured to herself, “So, you’re the one who drove Scarlett into a state of madness? In that case… why don’t you come play in my dream realm?”
“Mythic-Class Magic!”
Buzz!
She began chanting, and suddenly, a massive magic circle unfurled beneath her feet, stretching wide into six spiraling layers.
It expanded to cover the entire kilometer-wide area, trapping all one hundred thousand creatures within its bounds.
The monsters of the Uninhabited Zone, in a frenzy, dashed toward the edge, desperate to escape the circle.
Lin Tian watched her closely, analyzing her stats.
In terms of overall combat power, these Lords of Sin were all around the same level, slightly above twenty thousand.
However, each one’s mythic-class skill was particularly troublesome.
[Dream Realm: Allows the user to do anything imaginable within the dream, with sensations indistinguishable from reality. Dying in the dream results in death in reality.]
Lin Tian immediately understood why the monsters were so terrified.
Her abilities were indeed twisted and terrifying.
Being able to do anything in a dream world meant it was a battle of imaginations.
For people in this world, imagination was a scarce resource. This was an information-sealed world, unlike Earth, where one could access endless information, knowledge, and even entertaining videos online.
“World-Class Sword Technique · Final Sword…”
Without a word, Alice prepared to unleash a powerful move to disrupt Winnie’s casting.
Though it was possible to break in this way, Lin Tian raised a hand to stop her. “Wait. Let me go in and play with her. You two get out of the circle first.”
“Alright, but be careful. Don’t go dying on us!”
The One-Eyed Owl said, then dashed with a burst of speed to get outside the boundary of the magic circle.
Alice, with Sylph’s aid, controlled the wind to swiftly carry herself beyond the circle’s edge.
In battle, she knew to follow orders and never act on impulse.
They both understood this well and did whatever Lin Tian commanded, with only the occasional grumble.
