Chapter 40: The Monster Enters the Pond

The middle-aged man glanced at his right arm, his face turning extremely grim. His right arm had suffered noticeable damage, a wound inflicted by that monstrous fish earlier today. Though it was only a single injury, in battle, if it were attacked again, it would be very dangerous.

Ignoring his companion’s words, the middle-aged man walked directly toward the inner area of the Dragon King Temple. He moved swiftly, leaping from the stone bridge into the temple in a single bound.

The young man said, his gaze turning towards the Hualong Pond. Even under the moonlight, it was hard to see anything clearly. It was the middle of the night, with no surrounding lights. The dim candlelight in the Dragon King Temple provided no effective illumination.

“Find it quickly. If we can’t locate it soon, HXLZ and government officials will arrive, and we’ll have a hard time.”

“Understood!”

The two men quickly moved to another area.

“They’ve surrounded the entire Dragon Mountain?”

Listening to their conversation, Lin Hao was deeply shocked. ET! That ET was now trapped in Dragon Mountain?

He had seen that ET here one night before.

“Has that ET been found!?”

Hearing the gunshots, Lin Hao was surprised. The sound seemed to come from the southeast direction. The gunfire grew more frequent, and Lin Hao, with his sharp hearing, could hear it clearly.

“I wonder if Luo Xue is involved in this mission.”

Slowly, a figure began to approach. Upon closer inspection, it was clearly a humanoid monster!

Just as the ET took a few steps away, it suddenly stopped and walked back towards the edge of the pond. The next moment, it started stepping into the water!

It entered the water!

Seeing this, Lin Hao’s eyes widened in alarm. Once in the water, the ET’s eyes seemed to glow green. It scanned around and spotted a carp not far away. Slowly, it began to swim towards the carp.

It was hungry. It seemed to want to catch a carp to eat!
